Department of State Discusses Culinary Diplomacy on Tumblr

The Department of State has officially immortalized Culinary Diplomacy on its Tumblr page.

Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Ann Stock updated State’s blog, as well as its Tumblr page, to discuss the International Visitor Leadership Program welcoming culinary professionals from around the world to travel throughout the United States and learn about our national and regional cuisines.

Stock reports that one of the participants had this to say: “When people are full, they are happy. Then they are better to each other.”

This is a great program, and I hope there is much more to come like this from State.
